Patrick Vavken
Vita.
Patrick Vavken is an orthopaedic surgeon, shoulder and elbow specialist, private equity investor and co-founder of BOW. After medical training in Vienna and international work in research and clinics, he became a sought-after expert whenever flexibility—literal and strategic—is required.
As a physician he combines precise scientific work with a clear focus on people. His credo: posture is more than anatomy – it is attitude, responsibility and perspective. Exactly at this intersection the idea for BOW was born: building bridges between disciplines, structures and people.
Patrick Vavken brings a distinctive combination to BOW: analytic clarity, evidence-based strategies and the ability to recognise and steward long-term developments. Whether in medicine or in cultural work, he understands systems where others see only symptoms.
With humour and clarity he translates complex correlations into manageable steps. Together with his brother Billy he represents a way of thinking that connects posture and movement – in the body as well as in society.
